The Big Small Man

In the last 2 decades we saw the evolution of a concept called Globalization.

We had to spread our thoughts and try to shift from our local areas to the Global Markets.
This was an impulse of the economics and companies in traditional markets start facing a very hard competition from companies that born in countries like China and India.

Now the world is facing a Global Crisis and the way the Globalization is being implemented may be one of the main causes for this Global Crisis.

No matter how you try to improve your production methods, reducing production costs, it is virtually impossible to compete with countries that almost don´t have labor costs because they pay so little amounts to their employees and force them to work larger weekly periods with no social benefits.

We may want to think global but western countries are not able to compete globally.
We want to be Big but after all we are no more than small Man´s falling one after the other because our factories are no longer competitive.

It is important that we make a stop and try to find out the true causes of the current global crisis. Each government separately is trying to deal with the problem. Important measures are being taken but they are not enough.

From above, from the big economic zones like the USA or the European Community, we must start to receive signs that a globalization with few rules must be changed somehow. We will not go back 20 years putting again so many regulations that avoids the global trades.

But the way the trades are being done are far from being fair and they will continue to destroy the Western Economies, maybe leading to a tragical collapse.
